dont you think that Consumer Confidence just turned up slightly as a minor "oversold corrective blip" ?
a bear trap among the readings and time series
it could not maintain that rate of descent
big deal

I was surprised how much emphasis was given to a minor increase
I personally took some solace in the reading
a blip up is better than continued deep slide down
but as I told friends, until we see three straight increases, dont mean sheeeaht

watch next month register a decline
to be frank, I believe the news media is desperate for some any good news on the economy or consumers
it will take a while for some true consistent sustained good tidings
