From WaveRider website: "In terms of revenues, the world market for telecommunications equipment has surpassed the $US 110 billion mark with wireless products accounting for more than 35 per cent. As well, the electronic commerce communications service market is expected to exceed $US 600 billion by the millennium."

Thread- I'm of the opinion the above figure of $110 billion for the equipment market (worldwide) is on the low side. And was surprised at the 35% figure for wireless(assumming most of this must be mobile wireless equipment). Does anyone else have any supporting stats?

iamyuneek- Not knowing much about WAVC, can you tell what percentage of their trailing twelve months revenues were for last mile fixed wireless solutions? I take it from my once over view of them, they are more of a Wireless LAN specialist versus a last mile specialist. Maybe you can save me some time and tell me the revenue breakout between the two. Thanks. -MikeM(From Florida)
