Mehrdad, I would venture EDGAR will show that 3Com insiders are also buying up PALM, we should know in 10 days by checking with the S.E.C. disclosure filings. It had to be them, an Asian Manufacturing KEIRETSU monopoly/control play, or INSTITUTIONS BUYING FOR WINDOW DRESSING. It is approaching the end of the month and some finds end of quarter, and they do not intend to hold cash, the MANTRA IS GROWTH and so I think the probability is that INSTITUTIONS BOUGHT MOST OF THE 130 MILLION SHARES yesterday. imho. But we need to check he EDGAR or FREEEDGAR.com database over the next 10 days o know for sure. Someone said it could be short covering, but that would be too huge I think, we all agree the Market Makers would not be holding that much stock for their trading inventory.
