Have posted many times (in other threads) that it will be crazy to go long on JDSU, as well as, NT, CLS, CSCO, JNPR, etc etc on the telecom equipment suppliers. Those going long better be able to pick bottom accurately and be fast with the "sell fingers" to admit mistakes. Going against market sentiment when trading is never a good plan. As a trader, the odds are better to go short, rather than long under the current market sentiment. However going short on Canadian stocks is a hassle cause you have to call in, and the broker loads you with cash margin requirements. Also, many traders are apprehensive about shorting and not confident doing it. JDS, NT etc. are still short candidates, until the trend reverses.
