Ken- Well there is still that lifting of cable ownership caps rules still hanging over ATT's head. I'm hoping for a sea change in competition for the RBOCs if the FCC gives up the caps rule. In other words, less regulation is good in the long run. Short term, you make an interesting point.

I'm still of the opinion the dramatic slowdown was caused by ATT raising the white flag on capex. If they hadn't done that, the spending might have continued. Once they lower it, I'm hoping the capex race resumes. -MikeM(From Florida)
