Please don't join me, I want things to continue to fall for a while. I'm averaging in slowly (always a good idea), and will hopefully not run out of cash before all stocks everywhere reach zero. Since I'm averaging in by the same number of shares each time, this shouldn't be a problem, because when it hits zero, I'll be able to accumulate an infinite numbers of shares without having to spend any cash.
Of course, by then my entire portfolio will be worthless, but just think how many shares I will have.

(No, I'm not serious about reaching zero. But this seems to be the sentiment right now: oooh, I can't buy because the price will continue to fall. Well here's a prediction for you: at some random point in the future, the fall will stop and the rise will start. This will, at first, manifest itself as a bear market rally, but when it's clear that the recovery is real, it will be too late to buy). |
