Slacker -

"Nokia today entered the South Korean CDMA handset market for the first time with two devices, despite news last week that it had discovered a software glitch that prevents legacy Nokia handsets from working with networks that implement 1xRTT technology."

Legacy Nokia Handsets.

This doesn't sound to me like it's referring to the brand spanking new 1x Nokia handsets - they'd hardly be legacy.

Seems like it must refer to NOK's 95a cdma handsets - they'd be considered legacy in regard to Verizon's 1x upgrade later this year.

This makes sense to me.

Also explains why the CDG comments on simply letting them be traded out over time - over the next 12-18 months...
