JNI report on storage is full of SWEEPING GENERALIZATIONS and just POOR HOMEWORK, very poor research, If the ANALyst had done his DD right he would have limited the downgrade to the small portion of SUNW about which he speaks, instead, like all late comer PENGUINS he wants to do more than be the last downgrader of SUNW so he make flimsy generalizations about every storage stock, the ANALyst is do far out in left field on NTAP which I own, and EMC which I did own, it is not even funny. WHEN IS CNBC going to EXPOSE these ANALysts errors, they owe that duty to their viewers when they just verbatim repeat misleading ANALysts reports without any details, or discussion as to their accuracy. Where is AIM, Accuracy in Media requires some verification, and the JNI report had none, for shame. Oh well, it's just another buying opportunity for me, but for those that sold, CNBC did those people a great dis-service and CNBC should follow up and EXPOSE poor ANALysts reports for what they are. Otherwise everytime a ANALyst makes any noise, the whole markets will keep tanking, this is no longer REPORTING the NEWS but MAKING the NEWS or MAKING UP THE NEWS.
You know, if there is limited VISIBILITY then with regulation FD (Full Disclosure) We including CNBC ALL have ALL the information, and when there is no "VISIBILITY" then you have to use deductive reasoning, and there is no indication that when merchant houses, financial houses, banks, credit card companies, stores, data centers, content delivers, ALL RUN OUIT OF STORAGE EVERY 60-90 DAYS that somehow there is going to be a slow down for the WHOLE INDUSTRY, maybe one or two companies, but SUNW's loss is NTAP and EMC's gain of market share. That is rationale, and that is lacking from all these BLIND MICE ANALysts and also the BLIND EYE that CNBC and the other media turn when looking the other way and not exposing these poor reports and poorly researched ANALysts reports for what they are, lagging, HINDsight. Anyway, Ally, all this and Squawks brand of humor, sometimes its funny, but they should leave the jokes to Jay Leno and Letterman, and do more JOURNALISM AND NEWS REPORTING and the EFFORT that six Sigma requires of all GE companies, CNBC included.

Truly your$,
