i suddenly realised why all the AMER bears just dont get it. aol is a newbie medium. you graduated to the web or maybe even started there. you think aol is only for dolts because you're more sophisticated than aol users will ever be. go onto aol and chat to some of their users (away from the techie boards). you'll realise that there are millions of people who won't ever ramp directly onto the net. aol has an enormous franchise for which advertisers will increasingly pay a price premium as they realise thataol is 'network' while everything else on the net is a very fragmented cable
