That being said, show me a reference to a document. Lets hold it up to the same level of scrutiny that the New testament documents are subjected to and we'll see if it holds any water, Message 15583165 Greg , this story easily predates Christianity by at least several centuries at best. The record keeping in that part of the world was excellent and rivaled it's counter-part in Greco Persian worlds. They have one of the oldest recorded histories of man's civilization and by the time of Lord Buddha's lifespan were one of the most highly developed and skilled cultures . The original religious " scriptures " from Hinduism are the far and away the oldest recorded on the planet, dating back easily to 3500 years and beyond. They are called the Vedas. More is known of the life of the Buddha than any other religious teacher/master/savior of the ancient world . The recording of the "Savior" Krishna , Gregg is extremely well documented , I can assure you dating back far, far before the vague and cloudy origins of the Gospels of Christianity. Even the word "Scripture" , comes directly the Hindi word "Sruti". ...and Buddhism survives very well, 2500 years later. Must be a truth there somewhere ... regards Mars
