Ah, but you missed my point....the reason that RIAA wants to kill or control napster is that they haven't figured out a way to control the distribution. That is why I put the piece in about fences and walls. They haven't figured out how to put fences around the electronic distribution. And it makes sense that they would want to milk the last bit of cash out of their current manufacturing and distribution infrastructure, just like the telecoms don't want to give up their Class 4 and Class 5 switches...It costs a boat load of money to pull those puppies out and replace them and there is risk with anything new.
