I'm very touched by your efforts nonetheless, and you're right, that alien has absolutely nothing on you-you are far more elegantly deviant and strikingly bizarre than it and I know Thomas will agree if he recalls anything about your night together. I am searching for a suitably nasty reply to Jeff, who seems to be in a somewhat goading mood but am preoccupied by the realization that I have been rather disorganized even for me. Our houseguests are due to arrive, but unfortunately I don't know if it's today or tomorrow because I wrote it in July instead of June and it could be either the 9th or Tues. So I am forced to make food that can live until tomorrow if it's not tonight, but must clean the guesthouse regardless. It's kind of taken the wind out of my new assertive, confident, and empowered sails. I'll have to hurry though, because I just checked Jeff's profile and he's not much younger than I, and as we all know, men die so much earlier than women.
