DJ MARKET TALK/HK: PCCW Seeks Solution To Fund Cyberport 11:33, 2001-03-30 1009 [Dow Jones] Pacific Century CyberWorks (0008) could fund Cyberport development by pooling Cyberport with parent company Pacific Century Regional Development's Tokyo property assets to obtain non-recourse finance from banks, Ming Pao reports quoting unnamed banking sources; says such arrangement will solve problem of mortgaging Cyberport site because company only has development rights but no title (held by JV partner HK government), but sources didn't say how arrangement would be structured and how Tokyo assets will injected into PCCW.
