Take Belgium for instance: the Belgian military will have no problem in joining the French for some "African tour". As regards other "less important Euros", well, let's take Greece: how do you think Greeks feel about NATO bombing their fellow Serb brothers?? I bet you the Greeks'd rather be part of a European military alliance that will refrain from shelling fellow white Christians! As for US intelligence, gimme a break! YOU DON'T NEED INTELLIGENCE FROM A RIVAL POWER!! The French, the Russians and the Israelis are gonna make up for the intelligence supplied by the CIA... Gus.
