Aren't some people always obsessed with a particular guy? Are people more obsessed with Clinton than they've been with other people? The obsession manifests itself in different ways over different things, and the obsession can be positive or negative, but obsession remains constant (imo). Many liberals were totally obsessed with Nixon. He was no Satan either- but you would have thought he was. Criminal, weak, morally blinkered in certain areas, but also brilliant in others- just like Clinton. I remember when I was 14 cleaning house for some people who had a shrine to JFK. I mean a SHRINE. Even at 14 I knew it was nuts to deify anyone. And that was before I knew very much about JFK. People who see in black and white, and cannot appreciate nuance and/or the fact that any life has many aspects to it, will always do this sort of thing. I am sure it makes life easy. It makes thinking and analyzing unnecessary. It is simple and uncomplicated. Neither wrong nor right (imo) it's just a different way of viewing the world- like religion Karen. Either you have the ability to believe there ARE simple answers, or you don't.
