The article you quote is focused on the new and growing net telephony for the corporate market. IMO this line was under 10% of AUDC revenues in 2000.
IPBX for the corporate market looks to me like a good market indeed, and less whimsical then the carriers market.
It may take a bigger portion of AUDC sales in 2001, but it won't make the big difference. Q is when and how the carriers will get out of their capex freeze.

Here's a quote from same article:

And I guess that in the corporate market the majority on CSCO sales is still routers and not IPBX.
