It is my understanding that short sellers are taking a risk and there is no recourse for them.

The short sellers who covered by purchasing amazon stock during the Class Period (February 2, 2000 through March 9, 2001) are included in the litigation. I expect to receive invitation to join the suit for those shares that I have covered, but not for the shares that I still have open position.
