Duane, I have little faith in funds now that I have seen how poorly a lot of managers have handled OPM. Just not enough of their own blood it it I guess. I don't believe that this one example is unique: Message 15579675 Also, see my response to it........it is not a vote of confidence! siliconinvestor.com Maybe you have a better feel for funds than I do. I think there are too many of them and they need to.....er....consolidate. <shudder>.....<g> It's an industry that looked brilliant while we were in a bubble, but now with redemptions outpacing inflows I wonder why I would put my money in a fund just so they can pay it to the people taking their money out? I figure my money will not get the chance to be put to work, and at best I would just be helping some manager keep his job until we see what happens next. Perhaps I am being too pessimistic, but I think we have more pain to go. E
