Earnings 4/25 -I just called qcom investor relations and they said that's the tentative date, i would assume after market as usual.

Here is a post i just made on Clearstation thread, yu guys know the story already.

The thing to consider about the upside for qcom is the potential for many GSM operators to go with 1x instead of WCDMA. The reasons as I have stated are, CAPACITY increases, can be done in existing spectrum, will do data etc. etc., etc. By overlaying they save somewhere around 40% of the cost of a greenfield buildout by using the same switches and backhaul equipment. Dont' forget that China is going to make phones which are EXACTLY what is needed for this change. A phone wiht a SIM card is what was needed. China will be the only place that is ready and making what they need. And as I have said, as china develops the 1x overlay on GSM, the case for GSM 1X overlays gets harder to deny. The only thing GSM carriers may able to afford is a cheaper rollout of a superior technology. Forget politics, its about money money money.

I think this is why q appears to hold up while the cscos of the world do not. There are a lot of believers, of course including myself, that know things are looking very, very, very good for Qualcomm's future.
