The guards would have been executed for dereliction of duty, so that scenario is not very good. If the disciples had stolen the body, it is highly unlikely that they would have died the horrible deaths that they did, all the while, defending the bodily resurrection. All they had to say was "JUST KIDDING" and they would not have been killed. Would you do that? I didn't think so. It still looks like the Resurrection is the more likely scenario. You assertion that "Just about any scenario would be more probable than the officially sanctioned Christian version." betrays your prejudice. It seems not that you can't believe, but rather that you won't believe, regardless of the evidence.
