Hi Mark
Just catching up a bit and read you're getting Surfsaver 2.2=(I have 2.1(pro-bought))cool!
just did a quick test WITHOUT naviscope--
(maybe that is where I had a spyware problem that Adaware got rid of)-
and did CL (computer Learning)
post 8000- 9000 (1000 posts )in 17 min.(in 10x mode) and not being particularily
fast on the clicking the mouse.
Works great with SI--

On search - either by listing all in a file that you may set up or a search- thru many files and criteria will
show what the results are by a additional window on the bottom of the screen ---
so the available amount of space on the screen is less (and is adjustable)and you must scroll to see the whole page if it had fit the screen beforehand--(I am so use to it- I forgot about that)- a 19" screen works very well with this.
---
that is one of the quirks--
here's one that is specific to the program---
to find a specific word search such as
"cable modem"-- this program does it like this:
[cable modem]
otherwise quotes just returns a boolean OR.

when you first set up- it defaults to its own file but any directory can be used as well as drive and there is a browse that opens to point to wherever--
anytime you might want to move that info to another area--it is much easier to copy and paste the directory (and lets you re-name)

I can search many directories(surf calls them cabinet) or files by checking the box on the left side-

Its not perfect==
the results are given in pages found and you must
go through each page to find whatever- so the more precise
a search the better (hence-- use [])-- that drove me nuts
till I found that.

Gonna be around the weekend, if I can answer more questions-- will be gone this afternoon.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

edit-- bad spelling-- whats new
