I believe the limits are imposed on corporations and unions, and not individuals. Individuals before had very little voice, in relationship to the huge amounts spent by these corporations and unions.

I just saw Patricia's message that the anti-health care reform ads cost $250 million dollars? And the millions spent on this years elections? How can individuals or smaller parties compete with this scale of spending?
