Re: Everyone will want a broadband connection: I have broadband and Yes - it's great, but there are some problems -- It must stay ON all the time - otherwise it loses it's settings - plus it puts me at risk of a power surge after an outage. It's also a greater risk re: hackers, so I have to use a Firewall. When the power goes out, my whole system is down. That's why I use a backup system: A laptop with a POTS internet connection. Even without power, that will work (if my battery is charged). (I get nervous if I can't trade on-line.)
