Scott,

I just wanted to congratulate Bush and the Republicans on uniting the entire world against the US.. I never thought Bush had it in him to something so monumental... He now has a legacy of creating the most anti-US sentiment ever by a US president.. as well as global warming and destruction of the world environment.
But hey...Bush's friends - the mining/coal and oil industry, all get to make a few extra dollars by not having to put those troublesome environmental controls on their practises and plants.. and Bush and they will all be dead by the time the environment completely goes down the tubes.. so who cares eh?

Gee, the guy still needs to refer to the Quick Reference of the phone before he can put someone on hold, and you already credit him with the "destruction of the world environment"?

Can you tell me which action of Bush, which executive order, which law signed caused this to happen?

Of course.. if I were the Canadian government.. I'd tell him we'd be more then happy to sell him oil and gas.. provided he stop his punitive action against Canadian lumber.

You posted an article yesterday, and based on the facts of the story (not the spin of the hopelessly confused author), what Bush is proposing would actually help Canadian lumber to export to the US, and there was a reference to cancellation of proposed (or actual) duty at some 40%.

I guess the hopelessly confuse author would find a reason to be equally outraged about a cancellation as he would about the imposition of the duty. Kind of like some people on this thread.

Joe
