PART 2 of THe Terrible Day
I am back in business. And I latch immediately onto what I perceive as a channel on the SPX... and it is peaking- I must buy NOW!!!!! I type in the buy. It fills! Five minutes later, the puts are up 1.5. I am going to sell and make about 1800!!! The phone rings. The voice of a ten year old says, "Is this Rambi?" Well, she didn't really, but you know. "You know that buy for ten contracts SPX 100 April puts you just bought at 11? Well, you didn;t really buy them. It was a mistake." "No, it wasn't!" I cry. "I'm selling them now!" "Well, no, I don't think so." she says smugly. "But you TOLD me I had bought them!! You said so on my computer!!" I was whining, I admit it. "Yes, we mistakenly sold them to you. But we took it back." Took it back?? Took it BACK? I have a few trades I'd like to take back, ok??? Can we do that? Huh? Hey, Mr. Waterhouse! You know those CSCO shares I bought at 55? It was a MISTAKE, ok? I want to Take It Back.
Why can't I do that, huh? Because they said so. I feel about 5 years old. |
