Hi Poet,

I thought, and my parents thought, Nixon's resignation was appropriate.....but what impressed me, and has left a lasting impression on me, is that my parents saw the totality of the situation.....It taught me to look not a single incident, but all that lead up to it.....and to this day, I want to see people in power look to the good of the many as opposed to the good for him or herself....a little benchmark I have now in voting....

I had a great time with my friend, but I fear she's made a decision regarding her health which is not good, meaning the BIG NOT GOOD. I hope her decision is right, and all the doctors are wrong....she's stopped some medical treatments which her doctors say will cost her dearly. I'm glad I went to see her...I thought of planning the visit a week or two from now, but decided that was not wise.
