Expect the Euro Army and Russian storm troopers to participate in joint military exercises pretty soon?

.....the backdrop will likely be an urban rebel environment?

Oh, boy.

Perhaps the Russians will demonstrate the deft moves they used to subdue Grozny.

When you think Russian military and intel operations, remember two words....."brute force".

The big question, I think, is Russia's desire for alliance with western Europe, esp. Germany. "Fool me once.....fool me twice....." Then again, Putin may think they have enough juice if they call out former assets in the East.

And, how about this.....The Euro Army will share intel and planning info with the Russians while keeping the U.S. at bay. And, then.....The Euros (NATO) will share intel and planning info with the U.S. and keep Russia at bay.

I don't mean to offend any individual here, but this is something only the French could have dreamed up.
