If a business opportunity exists it will attract capital. If not from the current incumbents then new enterprises such as M/ERGY Com Dev. The business opportunity is a ready solution to the telecom industries most difficult "last mile" problem. Moreover the next eighteen months Qualcomm is going to be oversubscribed supplying handsets and upgrade 1X infra to VZ, PCS, Korean carriers china and the rest of the CDMA world all of whom are not in financial trouble.
