funny, that's exactly the opposite of what i've been hearing. turns out everyone who wants a PC already has one. and in a recession, buying that second or third PC isn't very likely.

this is the main reason MSFT is trying to move to a yearly subscription model for all their new software, to keep a revenue stream going that otherwise is disappearing.
