The American view typically has been, "If we pollute, so what? There's always more fresh real estate over the horizon." That can be our view no longer I don't eat meat which automatically moves me to the front of the line in terms of not polluting. I have probably planted more trees than all the liberals on these boards combined. I have seen the Sierra club members driving their SUV's . Of course they are nature's lovers. Why did the head of Greenpeace leave in disgust stating that the movement had been taken over by political hacks with an agenda ? Yes pollute less and engage technology to improve (which they have been doing). However the KYOOTO treaty is not about improving the environment its just one more huge step into a TOTALITARIAN ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT
