Hi Paul, Thank you for the comments and the bit of history on your two from the list. I think most investors like to do a bit of bottom fishing now and then and the Value Line list is a great place to start.

I, too, own two stocks from the list. Cognex (CGNX) has been in my account for over 5 years, I believe. It's a highly cyclical stock which follows generally along with the semi equipment manufacturers' cycle. It's business has continued to grow nicely even if its stock price has been a bit of a roller coaster. Their product is vision systems for machines. Essentially hardware and software to help machines "see." Most equipment is used for production and inspection.

Next is Am. Power Converter (APCC). This stock is in an estate account and has been since the early '90s. With a relatively low base cost, it's been a fun one to watch and use AIM with. Currently near the low end of its price range, its status in the account is fully invested with no remaining reserves. I'm looking forward to when it offers some handsome LIFO gains again for us. If there's a problem here, it's that their growth in both sales and earnings has slowed. It may be that the product line is just getting too mature. I'm following this one closely for signs that it might be time to retire it from my portfolio. It could be "delisted" from the High Growth list in Value Line if things don't pick up.

Best regards, Tom
