Yes they were conservative and repressive. They had phoney scientists. Now your scientists are journalists (modern day liberal priests) and inferior government scientist paid to speak what the government wants to hear. No Gallileo's in your church of the later day liberals whose god is SEX and SEX and more SEX. Singer is real progressive isn't he ? Thats what progressive really means. More sex with whomever whatever(dogs sheep little children, who cares) and whenever with no constraints.
