I took the "don't pitch the bitch" line in stride - if that's what they think I don't mind knowing it. It's not like the guys were presented as role models, worthy of emulation. Tell her they are nasty people and nasty people think, do and say nasty things.

Sounds like your real problem is that your spouse wants more attention than she's getting. Better give it to her before she starts looking for it from someone else.

My solution was to get more PCs and network them to the broadband cable internet. Show her how to do genealogy research, shop, get gardening tips, and email her friends. Turn her on to chick sites like oxygen.
