Dr. D,

You asked for feedback; I didn't laugh your figures off the board, but they are just pulled out of thin air; I did have a reasoned basis for my figures as you will see below.

Obviously 2,500,000 was a round-off. I don't see the damage there.

I am on the Internet all day, every day visiting a variety of types of site, using broadband, on a big screen, fast computer. I do not consider myself the median viewer, I am probably more like the ideal viewer. I hardly ever watch a streaming video. The people I know that do not have broadband, do not watch streaming video at all. The people I know with broadband that I am certain watch streaming video watch porn or the Swimsuit issue (stuff you cannot find on TV). I visited the swimsuit site and looked at the models and failed to view the videos at all. And I would say that the Swimsuit content was compelling.

My basic stance was taken based on print marketing models where a response from 5% of a potential audience would be considered very good. I fail to see how my arriving at my viewership is any less reasoned than your viewership figure.
Nobody said anything about how Jubimer's 40% streamers were defined, and you just made up your 33% of that, where is the reasoning there? I imagine a poll asked "Did you view any streaming video content in the last six months." or some such.

How many streaming segments do you watch per day? Poll SI and Yahoo! I bet you find even that invested audience watches less than one stream a day; even less than one in a week. I can imagine the car buff watching more than three streams, once; maybe a return visit after a month or so.

Your: "One other thing, you should not think that your preferences are held by everyone else. What you might consider as poor content, might well be applauded by many others as very good and very interesting,(swimsuit models vs automobiles).Try to be more objective with Your "analysis", and perhaps this will become a more useful exercise" is presumptuous, patronizing and insulting at the same time; as I said: show me how your "reasoning" is anything more than pulling figures out of thin air. You should not think that your preferences (imaginings, wishes) are held by everyone else either.

mo

PS: I am long this stock, although not as long as I once was, and I do not consider the revenue from streaming ads the only bet this company has.
