If some chemical [CO2] makes the planet uninhabitable, it might be considered a minor pollutant.

CO2 is one of the main "chemicals" that actually make the planet inhabitable. It is "food" for plants, plants are food for animals, and both plants and animals are food for the people. Once we are done eating, and using the food for energy, CO2 becomes the "waste" that is used by the plants, and the cycle starts over.

Maybe you should consider helping your kids with their homeworks. You may learn a thing or two.
