a good case for the 'media is liberal' argument
This is the part I disagree with. With much of the media owned by people like Murdoch and Rev Moon the media is quite conservative. The liberals stick out because they are unusual.

As for the crime, I know of know one who would like to see such things repeated. That pretty much sums up that it is not enjoyed or condoned
