You are right that the sector has a PE around 16. That was exactly the reason I found AAM attractive and bought it when it was around $11 with a PE less than 7. Whether it will go to 20s in a month or so, I am not sure. If there is no take over, it might take a bit longer for it to get to that level.

One thing to remember, though, unlike the tech sector, a PE around 16 is considered fairly valued if not overvalued for this sector. Therefore, when AAM reaches $24-$25, I will be looking to sell it.

Thanks for mentioning UC. Looks interesting. Very low PE and higher yield than AAM. I'll look into it.
