Sir Auric, this thread has maintained a high degree of integrity and politeness, one of the few left on SI that have done so. There has been a very high caliber of discussion of the G&K candidates. Granted, their performance has suffered in the recent market. But the total performance of these companies should be viewed from the perspective of the past few years as well. We have discussed whether these companies will be able to continue to perform in a recessionary environment. If you have points to make, and ideas to contribute, I suggest that you make them in the same spirit, rather than come in saber rattling and mud slinging. thank you. larry
