Why were the sox pulled down and naz up?
1. Earthquake in Japan.
2. Many techs bulls (fund managers) were cliniging to sox as a hanging on to a last branch on a tree for survival.
As trades settled on Thursday even for the qurter they dumped sox who have already been winners (see DELL up 50% this qurter also down same minus %4.5 as sox ). Now the next qurter in tech land may not be sox but networkers, servers, storage...Csco & sunw @15 now and @22.5 will be up 50%.
My guess is while individual indexes hopefully base and bottom mony could be rotating WITHIN techs from sox to servers to sw etc..
Another concern is under performance of NDX vs. naz. Tells me mony moving out big names into small names?
