In search of "Friendship Metals"...

All,
I spent a few hours today making phone calls to Arizona and Nevada. I'm posting names of people & agencies in case others of you wish to follow up and help track down "Friendship Metals". These are state mining organizations - I'll work the tax record office tomorrow. The bottom line is that "Friendship Metals" probably does exist - in a house garage somewhere. Very unsavory implications. It would help if IPMCF would come out and defend this past/present/future company-thing called "Friendship Metal".

I spoke with:
Nyal Nimuth
Dept. Of Mines & Mineral Resources
Phoenix, Arizona
602-255-3791

Nyal can't find ANY "Friendship Metals" in Arizona and his organization would know. He suggested checking in Nevada. Nice, concerned individual. He says there just isn't any Pt in Arizona.

I also spoke with:
Walt Lombardo
Directory of Mining
Reno, Nevada 702-687-5050

Walt was also another concerned geologist; he had a wealth of information as well. He said he would look up corporate records on "Friendship Metals" if I asked; I did. He also said to check out the Nevada web page pertinent to the various scams: state.nv.us. I haven't checked it out yet - so appologies if there is an error in the URL.

Finally, I did not have a chance to call:

Arizona Bureau of Mines (org. has a new name now)
Tucson, Arizona
520-770-3500

Nyal did confirm that Mr. Coggins had previously posted comments on the Web.

another I did not call (yet) is:
The Bureau of Mines
Las Vegas, Nevada
702-784-6691
