I will throw in my 2cents on setups. You can have two partitions, one to run win2000, the most stable product at this time. Then run you regular programs on win98 or Win ME on another partition.Do not let any programs run in the background, do them manually on a schedule. With the power and harddrive space on these new computers you shouldn't have any problems running qcharts, ravenquote,or esignal and have several other windows open at the same time on a partition with win2000. Note, Microsoft is in the tail end of beta test for the new windows XP. This is a new system that will be more stable for all users.
