that's because Mani views are similar to your own...if Scumbria was moderator here, I would feel the same way about him being fairer. However, I would never give up to him my power to vote. I don't think you appreciate democracy enough.

If anything you said was ever an issue on the moderated thread, it would deserve the attention that you are paying to it. I think the point of the thread is to make it high signal to noise ratio. It succeeded. Another issue is the overhead it takes to administer / moderate the thread, and Mani has managed remarkably well in keeping the posts related to this "overhead" low.
