t4texas, drilling in Alaska will take also several years to develop the oil fields. Further methane is a much cleaner fuel than crude oil and it is about time that Congress allocate the funds for accelerated research as they did with NASA after Gaggarin was first launched into space.

Then in a matter of years the US landed on the Moon. So nothing is impossible a huge energy resource is lying on our shores and we should exploit it.............. and most important it is probably a very clean energy source.
