Upgrade to P166+

Check if your board provides 2.8v and 3.4v settings. If it does go for the P166L+ which has a 2.8v core and 3.4v I/O Check the board against documentation for jumper settings. You need to get the voltage, clock and cpu type correct. When you handle the chips you must be careful to ground yourself so you don't damage them with static electricity. Static discharge from walking across a carpet can be 2000v. Damage can occur from as little as 30-40v. Make sure the fan is reinstalled and running. When you make jumper settings make sure you understand where pin 1 is located by observing the silkscreen printing on the board and the doc diagrams.

Good luck
