I also used to subscribe to SA. In the case of SA I found that I had very little time to read it and the internet has so much more information. On occasion I may find an issue on a coffee table or in the library and find an article of interest. In general I've found SA to be agnostic but that is with limited current readership.

At the present time, from past experience I believe SA to be a good science magazine. But at any time a dumb article may get thru. I read everything as a skeptic and don't necessarily ascribe any weight to an article because of where it is published.
