got blasted by refs with maryland +5

I really thought the bad calls (there were a lot of them) went both ways. A guy who was watching the game with me complained every time Maryland got a bad call to go their way, and so I started pointing out every time Duke got a call. It ended up fairly even.

The funniest part is the last Baxter foul. On the previous Duke possession, he reached across Boozer's body and grabbed his arm as he was going up to dunk. This is a call refs make 99.99% of the time, but they refused to blow the whistle. Regardless, to say that Baxter's presence would have helped is laughable. He was a non-factor in all 4 games this season. Battier & Co. were playing volleyball with his shots in the second half. Blake and Dixon were the key to Maryland all season. In the second half, Nate James and Chris Duhon shut them down, and that was the game.
