I have never met anybody who would do their entire web-surfing on a PDA-size screen. They want a wide screen, like a HP Jornada or a Psion. Or even bigger.

If you get a 30MB Powerpoint presentation, how much sense does it make to show that on a PDA? It would make sense if you could attach an external display (which some can).

As long as you are just looking at text in a document less than 4MB, with no big OLE Objects or big images inserted, a Palm does fine for most people.

If you doubt, please look at how many people own a palm and how many people own something based on Windows CE.

Btw: Handspring just entered the market over here. They are very popular with children.
