The only point your link or your quote from it made is that Venus is hot because of greenhouse gasses. It does not mean that Venus would not be hotter then the earth without them and it says nothing to contradict my post about the runaway greenhouse effect being started by these higher tempratures. Tim, Why do you think scientists/environmentalists are concerned with the greenhouse effect, particularly as you say, it may not really be a problem? What is their motivation for raising red flags? ted
