Joe,

I have suggested a solution on many, many occasions. We have discussed it on many occasions.

Conservation.

We waste huge amounts of energy commuting back and forth to work. Most of the oil used in this country is taken up by one person vehicles stuck in traffic jams for hours every day. It is stupidity and madness to destroy the ANWR while we waste 80% of the present oil consumption.

The fact that Bush does not even discuss conservation shows his real interest. He wants to get his oil field buddies into Alaska.
