1230 [Dow Jones] Although exchangeable bond issue by Cable & Wireless PLC to dispose part of its 15% stake in Pacific Century CyberWorks (0008) should have much less share impact on PCCW share price than outright share placement, and PCCW share might even get short-term lift on removal of overhang, PCCW shares will likely come under pressure from derivatives traders who may buy exchangeable bonds and sell PCCW shares to hedge.(IVW)
